Once again, Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung has changed into an actress and is to play in KBS 2’s Haewoondae Couples (written by Hwang Eun Kyung, directed by Song Hyun Wook).
On June 27 a staff member of KBS Drama Department said in an interview with Starnews, “Kang Min Kyung has been decided upon appearing in Haewoondae Couples. She made it to the first script reading on the 25th.
Her looks and atmosphere look very much like her character in the series. We’re already looking forward to her play.”
Kang plays a hotel secretary named Hwang Joo Hee who is also a friend of Ko Sora (played by Jo Yeo Jung) since high school. Hwang is a modern woman who is aware of her beauty and pours half of her income in adorning herself.
In addition, her character is to have a crush on an elite lawyer Choi Joon Hyuk (played by Jung Suk Won) who is also the vice-president of the hotel.
The series is a romantic comedy and will be shot on location in Busan. The story begins when a former gang member’s daughter Ko Sora runs into the best Seoul district attorney Lee Tae Sung (played by Kim Kang Woo). Haewoondae Couples will start airing on August 13 as a follow-up series to Big (written by Hone Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran, directed by Ji Byung Hun and Kim Sung Yoon).
On June 19, DHC Korea revealed snapshots of Davichi‘s Kang Min Kyung from their advertisement campaign photo shoot set. The revealed pictures show Kang Min Kyung’s perfect body even before any help from Photoshop. The discrepancy between her cute baby face and perfectly shapely body makes it hard for anyone to take their eyes off these pictures.
At this advertisement campaign photo shoot for DHC Korea, Kang Min Kyung had to wear tight outfits that accentuate her figure. She had to skip a meal or two to show off the perfect body for this photo shoot. From time to time, Kang Min Kyung complained jokingly, “DHC always gives me really tight clothes,” but she soon bounced back and worked passionately with a smile on her face the whole time. She said that she’s excited to go eat some delicious food after the photo shoot.

On May 30, Kang Min Kyung posted on her Twitter "The cafe that had the best coffee and I was able to have alone time in has disappeared. I loved it because of that but I guess that's why it's gone... Anyways, so now I'm sitting in a coffee shop terrace where the coffee is good and the business does really well", along with a photo.
In the photo, Kang Min Kyung is wearing a striped shirt while she has her hair down. Her slight smile and 'V' sign finished off her 'goddess' look. The other member of the duo Lee Hae Ri cannot be seen and she is surrounded by three men.
